Mykad turns into Permanent-Stay !!!!!
Last week a local news come out with that a woman of 70 above years of age wnen she reapplied for her Mykad 'cause she had lost her previous one. When ever the card arrived it turns into a permanent-stay !
If she didn't seek for the helped from political party I think the case will be left aside. I wonder what is the registration office is doing? If you say it's a technical error, it's bull-shit!
Who will accept this explanation? It's not the only case in Sabah! As far as I know there are much-much more of these cases. The ACA should take action! Not just keeping quiet! You people can investigate on rumours that YBs are crossing over to opposition and now there is a clear case with evedience why action is not taken?

I was appalled to read the local front news (Daily Express - 26 September 2008) today with the heading - Sabahan Bumi ends up as a Permanent Resident!! A 78-year old Sino-Kadazan holding a Bumiputra Native Cert was issued a red MyKad. A red MyKad are issued only to Permanent Residents. This happened after her original MyKad went missing last year. After lodging a police report she then applied for a replacement MyKad. Several months later she was issued a new MyKad, but to her surprise, the color was red.
To add to her misery, all her bank accounts were frozen and she could not also apply for a temporary passport and not able to travel to West Malaysia. NRD spent millions to upgrade their systems and this is the result. No wonder it is so easy for the illegals to get a valid MyKad and just with probably a click of a button, a native becomes a foreigner! Shame on you NRD!
