Duit Raya
It is not easy to be a YB. Rakyat expect you to help them unconditionally. This is a really weiurd situation. The YB is getting monthly salary and allowance not more than RM 15000 per month. He has to support the officer staff. So, it is the practice of the past that causes the expectation!

2 or 3 days back our YB had come back to Semporna. Everybody rushed to his house fot the 'duit raya'.The mosque and his house was crowded with people waiting for duit raya.
Don't be shocked with you come to this sight thinking that the YB's supporters flooded his presence. They are taking opportunity to gather around the YB as to look for chances. After all they are back once in a blue-moon. May be the YB should come back more oftem for the rakyat. Not just for Raya Day!
